Made for your wall

Make the mural fit the wall—not the other way around.

Resize a gallery design, adjust its palette, or begin with your own approved artwork. Our team reviews the composition, materials and installation plan before production begins.

Prepare the brief

Start with four useful details.

You do not need a finished design or exact technical specification. These details give us enough context for the first review.

01

Wall dimensions

Share the finished width and height. Approximate measurements are enough to begin.

02

Room photo

A straight-on wall photo helps us judge scale, crop and viewing distance.

03

Artwork direction

Choose a gallery mural or send an image you own and are permitted to reproduce.

04

Delivery country

Your location helps us prepare packing, freight and installation guidance.

Tip: include a person, chair or door in the room photo so the wall scale is easy to understand.

Choose a starting point

Two ways to make it yours.

Both routes receive the same design review, written specification and approval step before hand cutting begins.

Mosaic designer reviewing custom dimensions, crop and palette for a gallery mural

Option one

Adapt a gallery mural

Begin with an existing DS Mosaic design, then review the finished size, crop, palette and material for your wall.

Client reference image being translated into a gridded custom mosaic design

Option two

Start from your own reference

Send a photograph, illustration or artwork that you own or have permission to reproduce. We assess whether it translates well into mosaic.

How it works

From idea to numbered sections.

Each project follows one controlled sequence, keeping the approved artwork, materials and finished dimensions connected to the mural we produce.

Custom mosaic workflow from approved design and tessera selection to numbered sections and packing

01

Share your wall and idea

Send the wall dimensions, room photo, delivery country and either a gallery design or your own approved reference.

02

Review the design proof

We prepare the composition, crop, palette and material direction together with the finished size, quote and schedule.

03

Approve, then we hand-cut

Production starts only after you approve the visual proof and written specification. Artisans then cut and assemble every section.

04

Inspect, number and ship

The completed mural is quality-checked, divided into numbered mesh-backed sections and packed with its installation map.

Before you approve

A clear project specification.

Your review brings the creative and practical decisions into one written scope before hand cutting begins.

  • Final artwork and crop
  • Finished dimensions
  • Palette and material direction
  • Price and production schedule
  • Section plan and delivery destination

Custom mural FAQ

Before you send the brief.

Can an existing gallery mural be resized?

Yes. We review the new proportions and recommend a crop or artwork adjustment before quoting the finished size.

Can you change the colors or materials?

Yes. Palette and material changes are reviewed against the installation environment, artwork detail and available tesserae.

Can you work from my photograph or artwork?

Yes, when the image is yours or you have permission to reproduce it. Clear, high-resolution references produce the best design review.

How is the mural delivered?

Large murals are divided into numbered, mesh-backed sections with a layout map. Each section is protected and packed for international transport.

When will I receive a price?

We provide a project quote after reviewing size, artwork, palette, material and delivery destination, because each factor affects the final specification.
